How it works

Most clinics know hourly locums — you pay for time whether or not plans are in the queue. VROSol charges for completed deliverables, with coverage that scales when your department needs it.

You send work when it’s ready

A plan for physics check, a chart for review, a dosimetry case — or patients waiting for physician contouring and planning — with priority and due date.

We scope by deliverable

One plan check equals one unit. Dosimetry is per plan with add-ons for sites and boosts. Physics packages flex capacity up or down with volume — and several physicists stay assigned to your site so coverage never depends on one person.

We deliver remotely

Review notes, approvals, or planning packages through your agreed secure channel — nationwide, including clinics with no on-site physicist.

Or we partner with your on-site physicist

They keep machine QA, regulatory items, and local needs. VROSol takes plan checks, dosimetry, and chart review.

On-site QA when needed

Machine QA scheduled primarily in the Southeast US, elsewhere by arrangement.

Hourly vs per-plan

Traditional hourly

  • Billed for time blocks and availability
  • Schedule conflicts with in-house staff
  • Hard to predict monthly cost
  • Overlap without added throughput

VROSol per-plan

  • Billed for completed checks and plans
  • Work arrives when your queue is ready
  • Scalable packages + optional monthly partnerships
  • Several physicists per site — no vacation gap
  • Pay for output, not presence

Remote coverage, explained

Can you really cover a clinic remotely?

Yes. We currently cover clinics entirely remotely — plan checks, chart reviews, and dosimetry. Remote workflow is our standard operating model.

We already have a physicist — is VROSol still a fit?

Often yes, and frequently the most budget-friendly option. They retain oversight; we absorb plan volume that creates backlog and after-hours pressure.

What does the on-site physicist still handle?

Typically machine QA, regulatory and accreditation, equipment issues, and in-person clinic relationships. VROSol handles defined remote deliverables.

How is this different from hourly locums?

Locums fill a seat on the clock. VROSol fills specific deliverables per plan — full remote coverage or relief for an existing physicist.

What about vacation or when a physicist is out?

We assign several physicists to each site. Coverage does not depend on one person — so you don’t need separate vacation coverage arrangements.

Can you help clear physician planning backlog remotely?

Yes. Board-certified, licensed radiation oncologists provide remote contouring and planning for patients already on your clinic’s list — so backlog clears without waiting for additional on-site physician days.

We accommodate routine, urgent, and STAT priorities — aligned with how clinics already classify work.
